Since there is only limited sleeping accommodation available, those who intend to stay in the Ashram should make their intention and the period of their stay known somewhat in advance. How to reach the Ashram By car to Assisi: Autostrada del Sole Al, exit at Val di Chiana and take the Superstrada for Peru gia/Assisi • Autostrada del Sole Al, exit at Orte and take the Superstrada E45 for Perugia/Assisi Autostrada Adriatica A-14, exit at Cesena Nord and take the Superstrada E45 for Perugia/Assisi Autostrada Adriatica A- 14, exit at Fano for GualdoTadino, then towards Assisi to San Presto. Turn right at the “Il Pino” Restaurant and drive along the unmade road to the Ashram en trance. From Assisi to San Presto: Follow the directions for Gualdo Tadino. After 12 km you will reach the village of San Presto; turn left at the “Il Pino” Restaurant and follow the sign to the Ashram. Those who have no car can reach Assisi by train and take a taxi from there. There is also a bus from Assisi (Piazza Matteotti) in the afternoon, and one from Gualdo Tadino in the early morning.
