During the years, quiet sites dedicated to great mystics of East and West have been created in the Ashram for meditation and prayer. On the occasion of the eighth centenary of the birth of Saint Francis, 15th May 1982, Sri Satyananda with the devotees of the Sadhana Ashram dedicated a chapel in His loving memory. On 1st May, 1987 the Matri-Mandir was consecrated by Sri Satyananda to the Holy Memory of Shreé Anadamayeé Ma, a charming reminder of Her active presence.
In Christmas 1989 a prayer room was inaugurated, where everyone can unite at the feet of the life-size wooden figure of Christ to find peace and serenity. In May, 1994, in the presence of the Venerable Lama Ghesce Jampa Ghyatso with other monks, the Buddha-Chaitya, a shrine holding a statue of the Buddha, was inaugurated.
